On 16th April 2006 we were at the former Battery Nansum in Groningen. There is not much more concerning of the former battery Nansum. There remain bunkers still two flat below the dike surrounded by sheep .

Battery Nansum formed of the outer air-defense work for the port city Emden during the second world war. As the liberators approached, and especially many farms in full surroundings got villages to suffer heavily from the fire of this proposition.
